Equinefit travels regularly throughout North America to measure and fit saddles. We will arrange to visit you at your barn, anywhere in the USA or Canada, at a time that suits you. We bring test saddles with us to assess what is needed for you and your horse. The assessment usually takes a few hours. In addition to assessing horse and rider we will discuss colors, leather types and any special needs. If you would like other professionals such as your trainer or physiotherapist to be present we will work with them to take into account any special needs that should be incorporated in your saddle.

Because Equinefit is a small company we have a very personal contact with our clients. To us, personal service is most important. We can offer you a high quality fully custom made product for an unmatched price with a service that cannot be found elsewhere.

Unlike some companies where you go from saddle fitter to secretary to saddler, Equinefit prides itself on knowing and understanding its clients so we can give the best personal care. Quality is our number one goal. Unlike some companies where saddle options are offered, we create a fully custom saddle for you - your choices are endless when you choose an Equinefit saddle.

After the initial visit, your new saddle will take around 8 to 10 weeks to be made. Following its delivery, Equinefit returns to make sure that you and your horse are perfectly happy and ensure all requirements have been met before we leave.

The total amount you will pay for your made to measure saddle depends on what options you choose; however, the base price for an Equinefit made to measure saddle is $4,000. This includes the initial visit, measuring, and return visit to check the fit of the saddle.

We are often asked "How can you deliver a custom made saddle for that price?" the answer is simple: because we only make custom saddles to order, we have no stock, no inventory and no overhead. What you pay for is a better quality product - directly from the craftsmen and better service - personal attention for every customer. You pay for the saddle - not the shop!

To ensure your new saddle arrives in good condition we usually arrange for it to be shipped to you prior to our visit, the shipping cost is not included in the price above.
